Margarete Brunner EFIAP
Margarete first made her reputation as a photographer in Germany as Margarete Scheule. While teaching school she became active with her local Camera Club, the Fotoclub Leonberg and was President for 10 years. She has been honoured by the Deutcher Verband fuer Fotographie and in 1992 was granted an AFIAP by the International Federation of Photographic Art, the worldwide organization of national photo associations.
In 1996 she was granted EFIAP standing for 'excellence' in her photography. Much of her photographic output while living in Germany was landscape photography, with a liberal sprinkling of creative impressionism. A number of her photographs were published in books, magazines and calendars
In 1994 she moved to Canada and has continued her photography as a member of both the Toronto Camera Club and the Toronto Focal Forum, and as a printmaker and a producer of AV programs.
